Forehand![]() |
Just as in the forehand, by increasing the racket head speed from low to high will increase the amount of topspin. A great backhand topspin for a right handed person would be when the racket contacts the ball from 7 o'clock to 1 o'clock and from 5 o'clock to 11 o'clock for a left handed backhand topspin. Also, be sure that your racket head is perpendicular to the ground as in my photo above. You'll notice that the funny picture in the upper right hand corner shows the man's racket face is pointing upward which means he's either going to lob or hit a shot 2 blocks away! |
